Beach time!

We had a wonderful time at Holden Beach this past week with the fam. Mara got to "swim" in the kiddy pool almost every day, and LOVED it!

She would splash and splash!

She did go 3 days without pooping, though. When that finally happened... man alive.

You can't be mad at this cutie. Especially when you find her sleeping in the oddest positions:

We were able to take some family photos. I need to remember to buy a balloon or something to get Mara looking in the right direction.

At least she's looking at my face and not pondering her next meal.

We did make it to the beach a few times, but it was SO hot, and SO windy... that we usually just played in the kiddy pool.

But we had our obligatory jaunt in the ocean in one of the cute swimsuits I picked up. (Zack called this her Pebbles swimsuit).

When the water would come, she'd pick her feet up... but never cried!

In case you're wondering, the diaper was a BRICK!

But we figured it was necessary since the walk to/from the ocean takes a few minutes... Nobody wanted to risk it.
