Food face

We are still attempting 1 meal of cereal a day. It's so much fun. Here's the feedback I'm getting...

And that's not even the face that happens right after the food gets into her mouth. Notice the puddle of cereal in the bottom right...

That's because someone thinks it's interesting to contort her body in the Bumbo seat and drool over the edge. And then proceed to suck on the seat...

And attempt to eat the container...

What you can't really see is that the cereal is all down both her legs, on her feet, down her neck... and she was easily distracted by the toy on one side, a towel on the other. No amount of smacking my lips and "mmmmmm'ing" could get her attention.

So I opened a can of baby food - peach flavor... and she burst into so much crying that I stopped.

We will continue to try just plain cereal this week, I've determined.
Growing up is just so difficult.
